Tsai Ing-Wen é uma política taiwanesa e atual presidenta de Taiwan desde 2016, sendo a primeira mulher a ocupar o cargo no país. Além disso, Tsai é a primeira presidente a ser de origem Hoklo, a primeira que não teve um cargo eletivo antes de ser presidente e, consequentemente, a primeira a ocupar o cargo presidencial sem ter servido anteriormente como prefeita de Taipei. Ela foi líder do Partido Democrático Progressista até sua renúncia em novembro de 2022, foi candidata a presidência em 2012, 2016 e 2020, vencendo as duas últimas. Wikipedia
