Theodor Seuss Geisel foi um escritor e cartunista norte-americano, mais conhecido por seu pseudónimo, Dr. Seuss.

Publicou mais de 60 livros infantis, dentre eles "Horton Choca um Ovo", The Lorax, "Como Grinch Roubou o Natal" e O Gato da Cartola. Foi o guionista do filme Design to Death", vencedor do Oscar de melhor documentário de 1947, escrito enquanto servia ao Exército dos EUA durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial .

Durante as décadas de 1970 e 1980 trabalhou com a DePatie-Freleng Enterprises em seis especiais animados, que incluíram as produções originais The Hoober-Bloob Highway e Pontoffel Pock, Where Are You?.
