O Grande Aiatolá Sayyid Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini foi uma autoridade religiosa xiita iraniana, líder espiritual e político da Revolução Iraniana de 1979 que depôs Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, na altura o xá do Irã. Governou o Irã desde a deposição do xá Reza Pahlavi até a sua morte em 1989.
