György Lukács ou Georg Lukács foi um filósofo húngaro de grande importância no cenário intelectual do século XX. Segundo Lucien Goldmann, Lukács refez, em sua acidentada trajetória, o percurso da filosofia clássica alemã: inicialmente um crítico influenciado por Immanuel Kant, depois o encontro com Friedrich Engels e finalmente, a adesão ao marxismo. Seu nome completo era Georg Bernhard Lukács von Szegedin em alemão ou Szegedi Lukács György Bernát em húngaro.
