Thomas Müntzer , com o nome também grafado Muentzer ou Münzer, foi um dos primeiros teólogos alemães da era da Reforma, ele se tornou um líder rebelde durante a Guerra dos Camponeses. Müntzer virou-se contra Lutero com vários escritos contra o reformador, e apoiou os anabatistas. Na Batalha de Frankenhausen, Müntzer e seus seguidores foram derrotados.
