Sufjan Stevens é um cantor, compositor e músico norte-americano nascido em Detroit, Michigan, em 1° de julho de 1975, mas atualmente , ele reside em Brooklyn, na cidade de Nova Iorque.
Além de sua grande popularidade, Stevens vem recebendo muitos elogios da crítica musical norte-americana. Entre 2017 e 2018, o músico recebeu grande notoriedade ao participar da trilha sonora do aclamado Me Chame Pelo Seu Nome, filme indicado ao Oscar 2018 em quatro categorias.
