Paul Leonard Newman foi um ator, dublador e diretor cinematográfico dos Estados Unidos. Um dos grandes símbolos sexuais dos anos 60.

Filho de um bem sucedido comerciante de artigos esportivos, Newman começou a carreira em peças do colégio e, após obter a dispensa da marinha americana em 1946, foi estudar no Kenyon College. Após a formatura, ele passou um ano na Yale Drama School indo depois para Nova Iorque, onde entrou para a renomada escola de formação de atores Actors Studio, dirigida por Lee Strasberg. Wikipedia
