Nanfu Wang é uma cineasta que atua nos Estados Unidos, mas é nascida na China. Seu filme de estreia, Hooligan Sparrow, estreou no Festival de Cinema de Sundance de 2016 e foi indicado ao Oscar de Melhor Documentário em 2017. Seu segundo filme, I Am Another You, estreou no SXSW Film Festival em 2017 e ganhou dois prêmios especiais do júri. O seu terceiro filme, One Child Nation, ganhou o Grande Prêmio do Júri de Documentário no Festival de Cinema de Sundance de 2019.
